    The winds from the Nor'easter are starting to ramp up here today. There is cottonwood in the stove that I am trying to burn up. Decent heat for days like today, but reloading every 2 or 3 hours. The stove is behaving fine with the winds.

    I'm working in the shop on a furniture restoration project that is moving along nicely. It will be nice to finish it and move it out to open some real estate up down there.

    Happy Anniversary to Scotty and the Mrs.

    Its damm miserable out there today. Wife is having a kids party on the porch now because we won't be going to your neck of the woods trick or treating tonight. Propane stove is running out there:hair:

    I have the stove loaded with ash and throttled down for a 24hr burn.

    No offence to you or what you think but I just don't understand how someone can like looking at dead pets. I must have missed something. I see allot of it here just asking why?

    No worries mat60 , a member here was talking about cleaning the ceramic catalyst part of his stove that is not working well and used the terms "cat (short for catalyst), that it was dead (not working), and he was going to try to bathe (fix) it". Joke went on tangents. All are pet lovers here. Just a funny joke about the wording someone used to clean a part of their stove.

    I was treated with an open faced beef plate brought home in a to go box. It only took lunch, then dinner, than lunch again today to finish it. I am in comfort food carbo heaven :drool:

    (home made thin sliced beef over toast with mashed potatoes all smothered in dark gravy)

    Did I mention all home made?
