Hey y’all, I have an Englander 13-NC and I’m wanting to add a thermostat to cut on the fan. What would y’all recommend? I see these snap disc ones on the internet cheap. Will they work? Do the magnetic ones work ok? Tia

Paging Eric VW . I don't remember which thread it was, but there was some snap disc discussion going on and he contributed.

I added one of the adjustable snap disks to trigger the blowers on my nc30. It takes some adjustment to get it to kick on and off like you want.

I assume it comes with everything you need to install?

If you mean all one would have to do is insert this along the path of the hot/black wire to an existing fan....yes, I suppose, except the connectors for the spade terminals.

And don’t forget that those exposed spade terminals will have 120 volts so it’s nice to cover them with plastic or some other insulator. I unplug the system when children are close.

Do you mind if I ask where you mounted it Highbeam ? I bought one of the non adjustable ones and finally got around to putting it on this year. I'm afraid to put it right on the side of the stove for fear of killing the magnet if it gets too hot. I put it high up on the back shield, but it takes a long time to cut in the fan with it there.

Bingo!...its hard enough to get those snap disc type switches to work at the temps you want, not having any adjustment would be :hair:
