I don't get around too far on the internet but I've heard that reference before on a gun board.

    Well, I joined the crowd.
    :loco: :crazy::wacky:

Bunch of co-workers were pooling together to get tickets, so I pitched in $10.

Then had to stop at the store on the way home, got taco fixings, beer, then spent another $10 on the mega, and $10 on Powerball.
    :picard:

It's been around 6-10 years since I've spent any money on the lottery, now at $30 in two days.

    Something wrong in my head.

    Oh well, it's just money.

Just picked my son up from milking at my buddy's farm. There are no where near the lines at the stores around N.E. Ohio for tickets tonight.

image.jpg I'd first reconsider my commute options and then contemplate a better structured orphanage

In all honesty of what to do with that much $$$

No one of my immediate family would have any bills.

Many of my extended family would be much better off.

I think I would like to build a better local outreach clinic for the VA and maybe build another wing onto the VA hospital.

(No, it wouldn't be called the yooperdave addition!)

About half of Americans play the lottery according to the most recent survey, compared to almost 70 percent in the 1980s. That means the lottery needs to extract more money from fewer people, specifically from the lowest-income households, which spend on average $412 on tickets per year – more than four times the amount spent by the highest-income households.

In an effort to draw more people to the lottery, Mega Millions decided to decrease each person’s chance of winning in order to grow the jackpots. As the jackpot gets bigger, more people are willing to buy a ticket.”

Harder to get a winner, more bigger jackpots...
    ...Hmmm ...

I’d buy 1 if was down there , but not really into gambling with odds like that.
    But would buy a ticket

Can't dream if you don't play / pay. We've gotten our $8 worth of entertainment in "what if" conversations with my wife. Someone will likely win tonight. I can't believe it will roll over another night. However, if it does, it just extends our fantasies at the cost of $4 until Friday. Of course then, instead of just a Gulfstream 550er, we'll add a caribbean island to the mix.

Keep a small amount for myself and family. Set aside for retirement, investments, a vacation or two, small amount to kids, family and close friends.

Figure keep less than 1%, otherwise give it all away to charity.

I've seen too many people fall into money they didn't work for and it made them worse people.

Oh and buy as much laundry detergent at Menards as I want yooperdave ! :)

Not sure what the history is, but I get my laundry detergent at Menard’s. Also my Jack’s pizza, bbq sauce, jelly in the jar that can be used as a mug afterward,

Oh yeah, occasionally something related to hardware. Today I got a firewood cart. So far it seems to be working. Used a couple of 11% rebate cards to get it.

Bird seed, toy for my dog. Freeze dried soup mix......
