That deer will get my name in the state book!! I have missed it by less than 5 inches in the past!! My goal is to have my name entered into it one day.

What's the minimum? Our provincial records for typical are 120" archery, 125" crossbow, 135" muzzy and 140" with modern firearm (rifle/shotgun)
    Non-typical and its 130", 140", 150" and 160" respectively for the 4 categories.

125" minimum for gun and bow. That's typical. Non I am not sure but maybe the same or 135?

Yesterday , while working on a friends van , about lunch time, he says look at that, middle of the road nice buck tall horns , wasn't there long enough to get a pic or even try to get a point count. But I know where he came from. I will sitting back there waiting for him with the cross bow. if that dosen't work then the smoke poles. Maybe he will co-operate.

Hey, for some odd reason I have not been keeping up on this thread. Sorry about that.

Sadly, for a while I was not getting hardly any pictures of bucks but it appears they've now started to move more and we're getting some pics. Last night I had a buck at 25 yards but only a 4 pt. 9 does altogether too.

Here are a couple pics we've got.

    Some great pics guys.

I don't have mine out yet, but neighbors wife says there's a nice buck creeping up along our adjoining property line.

Have to get my butt in gear.

We are really being over-run with turkeys here. Maybe we need to import more coyotes?

Neighbor boy shot a buck last night. I found it for him on our place after dark. He was one happy lad.

No you dont!!! Just let me snd my cousin come hunt! Coyote's kill something like 60+% of your fawn recroutment...basically your fawns. Proven by Clemson study just a few years back on a huge multi year study.
