After saving for 2-3 years we got our very own Woodstock Progress Hybrid. Here are a few pics to get you all started.
I see the grate but not the ash pan, but assume the grate means the ash pan is lurking in the wings. ? Planning top or rear vent? Nice to get it this time of year and not feel rushed to get things set just-so.
Yes, the ash pan is waiting on installation. Top venting, probably move the stove back six inches yet. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Here it is with the ash pan installed. I need to remortar some of the stone at the back of the hearth pad that broke loose when we lowered the hearth pad. Then trim around the pad and set some stone or brick up the back wall. Oh, and my big helper had to show off her kitties. LOL.....
I have the hearth mortered back together and the pipe installed. Finally got cool enough to open the windows and run a fan for the first fire in the new stove.
Cleaned the glass this morning. Then later on I noticed this perfect picture of the stove cruising along.
That's beautiful, dirtdevil! I bet your little helper and her felines are loving it, too. Do you know what the flooring is made from? Looks like southern yellow pine to my untrained eye - same as what we have in our old home (now rental apartments.) I've always loved the look of it.
Yep - ours as well. Sanded and re-poly'd all the flooring before we moved in. Beautiful wood, hard as heck on the floor sander, and doesn't really like to soak up the sealer.
