Northeat Classic Car Museum in Norwich, NY

My brother and I stumbled across this place one day and it is a real Gem. Lots of cool cars. I will post some pictures. I will try to post the sign in first, then the car. Not sure of the best way to do this, but here it goes.

 

There were a lot of real cool old cars. Unfortunately not as many old trucks. I really like trucks. And there was some cool old motorcycles as well. They are a little further down the line.

 

This place is kept real nice and has a lot of volunteers that help out. They are currently raffling off a car to raise money for the museum. You can probably check out their website for more information.

 

Started by a man with a real work ethic and a whole lot of talent. By the name of Staley.

 

Moving along through the museum quickly. We did not have much time.

 

Some of the restorations they showed in pictures and videos were amazing.

 

I was wishing we had more time when we went through. This mountain bus was real cool. Wish I had taken a picture of the back end. It had steps off of both sides in the back for entering and exiting. Saaaaweeeeeet!

 

A couple of real cool looking cars. Many cars here I had never seen before. Several of them are from a field of cars where there is only a few left in existence.

 

A few more. Cool old truck! You firefighters will like a few of these vehicles too.

 

I love this! Kind of wish I lived closer to that! Here is the one that my family owns. My kids love going for rides in it and they take it to a lot of parades and car shows.

 

Wow. He had a big collection of Franklins.

 

We went through the museum in about an hour and 15 minutes. But I would have liked to have 2 and 1/2 hours to take my time. But we did not have the time that day. Cool delivery van here. With a whole extra drive train displayed with it. Very cool.

 

And some more. There were too many cars to take pictures of all of them. The glass and detailed wood in and on some of them was incredible!

A few others. I'll skip a few and show you some of the other types.

 

So many nice cars. What to skip and what to show you? Some speedsters, and another cool delivery van. LOFL That thing is awesome!

 

And the bikes, brothers, the bikes. And fire trucks. Some of the vehicles I saw had the coolest "wheels" and "rims". Wooden! YES! (Um, I'm thinking the ride may have been lacking a little though. What? Just sayin!

 

Skipping around a bit. OH! THUNDERBIRD! NICE! Check out the "trunk" on the back of this thing. Wow. Just classic. This bike was so cool looking.

 

Well I skipped a few. And there were many cars I did not take pictures of. Just did not have enough time. It is definitely worth the visit if you are in the area though. About an hour and a half to the south and east of Syracuse, N.Y. About, oh, 30-40 minutes from Cortland and 20 minutes or so from Binghamton.

 

Cool rides Gas. Quite a collection. Like the Franklin 1 ton truck. That'd be a classy way to get wood down the road a bit.
