Most folks know that I just finished 2 long trips. Went to PA and NH first and then over the weekend went to Ohio. On my trip home from PA I was alone so no need of a hearing aid. I simply put them in the case and forgot about them until I got home. Fast forward. I went to put the hearing aids in, opened the case, and the case was empty. Nuts. I called my son to have him contact my grandson who works at the hotel in Reading, PA where I stayed. Nope. Nothing found there. Nuts. I went to the place where I bought them and yes, they will replace them free of charge. However, I had not yet heard from my son so did not order the new ones at that time. This morning I sat down at the desk for a bit and for some reason or another I suddenly looked and found 2 cases rather than just one. When I opened one of the cases, there was my hearing aids! Wow! They weren't lost after all and I could have worn them to the Ohio party had I known. And now I don't have to make a trip to Lansing to order a new set. Just goes to show how silly things can be from time to time. But of course, not many on this forum would make dumb mistakes like I do... Yes, I still feel a bit silly over this one but in the end it is good.
What? Just kidding Dennis.... glad you found them. I bet that Ornery One laid the one case by the other, walking away with a snicker..... Kinda like when you faked having fallen and called her on the walkie talkie...
You are right about "not many on this forum would make dumb mistakes like I do", we would find our own ways to make dumb mistakes No need to feel bad
Is that like finding your reading glasses on topof your head after spending an hour looking for them ?
Glad you found them Dennis. So, all that yacking I did at Walt's was for naught then. BTDT with safety glasses. Where the heck are those d@@ things?
….got me to thinking about......last week. I went to the bank and got our weekend "fun" money. I left it in the little envelope they put it in..... figured it would be safer that way. Finished my errands and came home. Was sure I brought it up stairs and put it on the kitchen table. Better half wants to know....where's the money? On the table. ….haven't seen hide 'nor hair of it. ...so don't go think'n you're the only one with a problem. Like my doctor says..... misplacing the keys just happens....no biggie. Forget what the keys are for...….that's a biggie.
Over the summer my daughter watched my wife use her cellphone to call her cellphone because she couldn't find it. It's been brought up many many times..
my wallet, keys, eyeglasses, and charged cellphone. then I am ready to start my day. for my wife, it is the remote control!
Like when your hanging trim and going utterly berserk looking for the pencil to mark my cuts only to find it shoved in side of my hat or behind my ear!!! Glad you found them Dennis.......Reading, PA wow about 1hr 30min from me!! One of these days!!! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Can't begin to count how many times I looked for my readers to then find them on my head or hooked on my open shirt. Also look for my pen that I am holding in my mouth......had eye surgery so I remedied one issue, just don't know what to do about that pen thing.
