    I have been having rounds with it the warmed over 350 didnt agree with the 700r4. So I pulled them and replaced with a tall deck 427 and a th350 I rebuilt only to find out I forgot to put the modulator valve in so out it came again and rebuild take 2. This time its happy but the rear end not so much time for ring and pinion.

    Yup I just went through heck with mine as well. New 308 rear, new 700r4 and now a new performance 260 hp stock 350 with a 600 CFM Eddelbrock carb. The 350 is around 300hp now not bad for an old banger that I love lol. Next on the list a new floor pan, fenders and rockers. It's a slow project but it's getting there..
