What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Lots of glare through the window this afternoon.....I'm starving but reluctant to put supper on cause I see potential for a nice subset which I'd want pics of....

 

My son had to inform me that my Grizzly isn’t the same color as his !

When I saw the pictures of it for sale on Craigslist it looked dark green to me. I never thought another thing about it. Turns out it’s all black. Off for a ride we go.

That's pretty much like my buddy's new to him 2012 xl 5.0. I thought his was a screw but it's a super cab with 6'5" bed. Oh yeah, his is black, not Andes candies safety green. He also has nicer factory 6 spoke alloys.

 

That ones an 09, I'd definitely rather a 2011+ with the updated engine lineup. I even like the 2011 steel wheels better (I had the ones like on the mint green truck on my old 04, didn't like them....)

The mint green would make for an interesting beater, but your buddy's black truck does sound nicer....

 

Used the four wheeler for some pasture work today. Borrowed my neighbor’s chain drag and pulled that all around two of the pastures for a good long while. Broke up all the manure piles ruffed things up a bit. Now that we have the wheelers that is going to happen much more often. We had let that go too long. Then used them for play. My son and I went for a ride through all the trails and are in the process of making a few new ones. I know where the stumps are through some of the logging roads that haven’t been cleared of stumps yet. So we are slowly weaving through those. Good times. Wife has been slow cooking a beef roast for about 3-4 hours in a slow roaster. I think she just added the potatoes, onions, and carrots. Dinner at 6 with her parents coming down. Two cold beers to sip through now!

Winter wood deck filling up.. Holds 12 cord but new Woodstock IS only needs 4.5 so 3.5 cord on deck to date and mama keeps her wine with sunset deck. On yeah pic while grill in chicken..

I just found a 2009 Yamaha Grizzly 550. It’s in nice condition with 2089 miles on it. The power steering is nice!

 

Well, I've heard that someone went away and left a tap on. Wow. That might at least partially explain the water issue We've been losing our water much less often the past few weeks. Still losing it occasionally, but huge improvement from almost daily.

 

Nice buy. I love Yamahas. Or as we call them, yammies (reference to a skit by a local comedy/music trio)

 

We're having a similar dinner. Slow roasted tri-tip with roast veggies and candied butternut squash. I have had a couple hard ciders, and they are delicious.
