So I got a new toy, its a watch that does it all pretty much. GPS,altimeter, barometer, heart rate yada yada. So I figured it would be interesting to see info on splitting wood. If you click on more right above the map it will show you more stats. And now that you have my location dont come stealing my wood.:tree::mad:

I split by hand, hence the heart rate. Split for about 2 and a half hours. Realized today that I have a fair amount of wood on hand. Its a good feeling now I just have to get stacking. Oh and I was splitting red oak and had some large rounds. Got 21 splits out of one round! Hope everyone enjoys the weekend.

I found that splitting with a maul was a major stress-reliever. Back when I could without my joints coming apart. You got a lot done there and have a very nice looking place.

Was a perfect day for splitting. Tomorrow is going to be 80. Spring is here out on the boat now to really bring it in.

I've been thinking of a watch like that for when I'm backpacking. I'll have to check it out

I come to reply on the altimeter and barometer when I'm in the hills, right now I have a Suunto with a caribiner clasp on it. I think I'd rather have the watch.

That's one big pile of oak! :)

I can relate, I worked the better half of the weekend and didn't end with nearly that much!

Lot of work there. You should have a good start on future burning years. I was getting about 18 out of my rounds and it looks like we split to about the same size. My problem was I had to get the rounds out of the woods by hand carrying them. I'll sleep good tonight.
