My boss had a 4 word message, "It's cold in here."*

We had a ton of rain, heat, & humidity as Michael passed just south of us. Now that it's gone we are getting a cool, dry north-west flow. Had all the windows open all day to get the dampness out of the house THEN the boss gets home.

First fire of the season a couple of weeks earlier than usual.

We got 3.5 inches from Michael remnants. Hardly any wind though. Raining again plus cooling off quite a bit.
65ºF yesterday, 45ºF today. Hope to get the stove going in a bit. Heat is on. :tears:

We got the same out here in the hills - 40s and raining most of the day. Mt. Greylock had snow at the peak today.

The new IS did a great job of taking the chill off! Got just enough of a break in the rain for some non-firewood outside chores, and then back inside for supper.
