    Hey I’ve done that it works really well.
    But he has it running to fast the wood will shoot off the end several feet at a slower pace.
    At that pace its probably going 10 or 12 feet. And quickly. I wouldn’t want anything in the basement hit with the splits moving that fast.

    1 horse= 1 horse power, ya I know math wise that don't work, didn't seem to bother us at the farm just double up the team if things got sticky ( 4 horse power)
    No one every told me whose horse that was based on any way. Over seas they got's those newtons and joules ain't never seen either of them. :p

    A horse can produce about 15 horsepower, the horsepower unit of measure came from the pulling (or maybe lifting, I forget) power of a horse (maybe dragging) , not a horse's total physical capability. iirc, a person is about 4 HP.
