    I'm feeling the pressure of getting exterior house work done before the cold weather arrives. The list slowly gets shorter but so is the time to get things done.

    Got the deck furniture and lawn swing put away along with the 80' garden hose. Covered the wood pile and am currently doing a "test burn" on the OWB. Had to add about 8 gallons due to a leaky boiler drain valve this past summer and am waiting for it to come up to temperature.

    Now the cottage has a list of summer ending chores waiting for me................

    Well it's Sunday so we just got two and a half cord of wood up onto the wood deck. From the Outback stacks, which is probably 500 yards from the wood deck. I love front end loader, that would have really stunk with wheelbarrow:eek:

    Wheelbarrows suck.

    The tractor with the FEL is a great tool to to have.

    FEL is paid for.. Don't own pick up YET.. Plus with loader onto deck is any height I want it.. About 7 loads per cord..

    Yes your right.. I want a truck.. Someday..

    Well work with what you have.

    I guess if you have a big enough SUV you can pull a trailer to get wood, move the tractor, or bring supplies home. Still a pain.

    It would be very hard for me without a truck. Doable but hard.

    Steady rain yesterday after our walk. Blue Jays lost the last game of the season. I think the rain has stopped now this morning so we can get our walk in. It's Monday - beginning of a new week and a new month. Where did September go?
