We moved!!! Yesterday we had a great moving party and plentiful help was involved. We are grateful and now...let the unpacking begin. I’m hoping that shortly I can get my insert and figure out who will put it in...honestly I want to do it but insurance puts me off. Might have to read back on ReelFaster install again after I take the fireplace parts out and all that. Good thing I didn’t post up much, jinxed it the last few times.
Expecting pics of the new house and why you like it or more importantly why the misses like it. And if it has plenty of room for Stacks.
Trust me it did, I just got so darned busy that someone else took some but not many. I will show you this one though!
Got room but I’m confined to a spot to make the wood shed and stacking area. Nice part about it is the yard is decent, not huge but couple pear trees. More trees than my last one for sure. Last one had One sorry blue spruce .... and a baby maple. Missus likes this one for its size and quality. We had a new roof that was installed 2 years ago, new gutters too. New water heater and a few other things. We call this the cat house in honor of the lady who lived there. Used to be a belly dancer. Hold fast on that one... I will try to post some pics on The house but the paint job... that’s outside And Inside. Paint we can change.
Congratulations, I recall some other plans that fell through. I hope you can get back into woodburning. We may be making a move too. Lots of wheels in motion. Hopefully heading to a better property with some land. No stove at the new place, but there will be.
Nice! We will miss your pictures of your outdoor wood oven! I hope to get back to burning soon but an outdoor fire will suffice for the time being.
There will most likely be a new one or one of those pellet-fired ovens. One thing we have learned is that things like the oven are replaceable. Lots of hard work done here, but looking forward to the potential on the other side of the move.
If you install yourself, get the fire dept out to do an inspection. Their paperwork should suffice for the insurance company.
