    Nothing too exciting here this weekend. Just bird watching. At least we didn't get snow or sleet as predicted. More melting going on. Just noticed the sun is now shining. I'll see the bone doctor Wednesday. Maybe get some insight how long it will take for my knee to stop hurting. There is a compression fracture that needs to stay stable. Brace goes from the top of my ankle to "where the sun don't shine." Many straps, hinges and bars on the sides.
    Wife taking me for a little ride this afternoon. Good to get some sun.

    I appreciate you reminding me of that. I put the stove in back in October I guess. And I did not have a decent one at the time so I put that thing in thinking it would be better than nothing. Then I never bought a good one and put it in. I need to get one of those! Thanks.

    I need about a six pack to relax after the day I had!

    I think I'm going to try to grill some brats and have a beer. That's how we get over a chitty day here in Wi!

    So I just got a letter in the mail that we are getting a citation for 263.50 because they did not receive a certificate that we had our mound system pumped! We sent this out almost 3 months ago when our mound system froze! We have been getting it pumped every month because it's froze.
    Seriously bad day!!! :mad::mad::mad:

    It's going to take more than beer to fix this day!

    It's a septic system. Our county requires us to have it inspected every three years. They were supposed to send in our paperwork when they pumped it, they didn't do it...

    I decided the best way to fix a bad day is fishing with the family. The day is better already!

    A mound system is a septic system with the leach field above grade. Used when soil conditions have poor drainage.
