Heck, they can't even get the weather right 2 days out here....lol I personally believe it will be a mild winter here, with little snow precipitation. We've already blown past our YEARLY precipitation average (I think we're headed for a new record this year, we're over 53" IIRC and it's only September) we shall see though. I want some snow, but we doubt we get it. I'm about ready to sell these damm sleds. All they do is sit, and when it finally does snow enough to run them, you gotta tinker with them to get them going because.....ALL THEY DO IS SIT!!
I apologize! I'm not much of a picture taker unless it is something I am thinking about. I'll try to get some pics up
I think that this winter (for us) we'll be one with snow and then the rain will come in followed by freezing weather creating a chit load of ice. We usually only have one garbage can full of dry sand for the top part of our driveway for the winter but this year we have three ready.
I came across one in late July that was 100% orange at work, 50 plus miles from home. I took a pic but can't find it now. Two weeks ago, while cleaning out the garden, we found two or three more. Same thing, all orange. We'll see!
The first Woolly Bear came in on the dog this morning and the second picture was when I was waterproofing the blocks this afternoon.
The only wooly bear I have seen this year was big and jet black, I don't think he had 5 orange hairs on him....Me thinks it's going to be a hard snowy winter here....
