    Stoked for ya LinkedXJ
Just reading the beginning of that post made me smile immensely.

Jobs are jobs, that's why work is a four letter word ya know.
    ;)

Work pays the bills, and that is very important, but without the family, it's just money.
Keep focused on what's important, and you'll do just fine.

I know exactly what you're talking about with that newborn excitement! Enjoy every second because they go so damm fast.

Glad to hear you have a job where you're not doing the on call and overnight gig. Lots of windshield time now, but a nice easy day mostly out of the elements is a bonus!

    Best of luck

Enjoy these best years of your life. Starting your own family is a reward unto itself. You will find yourself working hard for your family and that will help you get through any tough times at work. You may even seek out new opportunities as time goes on. Just don’t over do it. I did plenty of things like having more than one business going on while working a regular job in a family business. 70-80 hour weeks were the norm for many years with a growing family. It wasn’t backbreaking work, but it did take its toll in later years. Do what you have to do, but make time for your family. Raising kids and supporting your family is a wonderful mission in life. You’ve already made big decisions that have you well on your way to being great parents. My best wishes for all three of you, and maybe even more down the road.

Morning all. this week's weather seems to be clear for our walk, marine fog layer moves in with the sunrise, clear off by 1:00 PM and then overcast by dark. The rain we had last week has the puffballs and mushrooms springing up all through the woods.

I seemed to have lost my weather sticker in my signature. Anyone got any ideas?

Blah, I had to leave the house early to come to a customers site and show two software guys from my corporate office where to go at the site. So I’ve been just standing here bored for two hours. Back is starting to bitch about this.

They did get refused haha. Yuck, like why bring it to the dump. Throw it out for the birds to eat.

I've also noticed something. Dumps often have views that would bring big money from home buyers/builders.......think they'd put them on barren lands with nothing around.....

Happy for you LinkedXJ , being a dad and raising a family......well there aren't enough words to describe how amazing that is. Trying at times yes, but the rewards far outweigh the bad! Makes you look at life in a whole new way once you have kids, at least it did for me.

Took one of the dogs out for a short walk and had to put on my FHC hoodie:dex: when I got back inside. I'm still chilled. Slightly rainy, cool, and a light breeze.

Send some of that cool air out east, will ya Dave? Too humid and going to 78° today. It’s just sticky out there.
