X2. I was talking with a friend in SC and he’s preparing. Scares me he's close to the Atlantic though.

Yes, that thing could really make a mess of things over a large area. I do hope it doesn't go too far inland.

Glad they have the early evacuations going and seem to have a traffic plan to allow the major traffic to flow.

The young girl who I have posted here, who helps me splitting and stacking wood couldn’t help me Saturday.

She and her sister were planing to paint some fence for me. Richelle awoke sick and didn’t come.

Found out she had an appendix problem. Had surgery, and they found gangrene.
She is a tough young lady, but I am worried.

Prayers from everyone will be greatly appreciated.

She is being treated. No news yet on prognosis. Pretty well dressed for firewood chores.

I finally got word today that there is nothing broke. Most know I took a bad fall a few weeks ago. I asked my doctor (the one I go to for shots in my back and neck) for some cortisone in one of the shoulders but he would not until we were certain there is not so much as a crack in a bone else the cortisone would impede the healing. But we are clear on that part but I can't have any more because I had some in my neck in July. Have to wait another month before I can have more. Nuts. But we'll get along okay. Just a bit more difficult doing some things and can't use the right arm much. When I do, I pay the piper for sure.

I did make some cider today with neighbor Jim but he had to do most of the cranking down of the press. Cider turned out good!

Sorry you're hurting. Does icing it help?

It is very rare that I can use ice. Something about having had polio. When I try to use ice for something like this, it makes it worse. I'll not forget the times PT insisted on using ice. I now direct them at the start (if I ever go to them at all) that no ice will be used. They usually only want to argue, in which case, I leave as it makes no sense to stand there and argue. If I say no ice, it means no ice or cold. Like the azz that agreed to no ice but sprayed that crap from the can on me. I could hardly walk on the way out. Nope. I'll use ice for cooling my drinks and not to try to aid my body. Sorry for the rant.

They never understand what part of NO you mean. Glad to hear you are on the mend. I start PT next week for a pinched nerve in my neck. We'll see how that goes.

I find that using Tumeric helps relieve pain, but I'm not a Doctor.

    cant like this.
Had a pinch between 6 and 7 in early 2016. Flat on back for almost 7 weeks due to pain in shoulder.
Lost strength in tricept amd 2 fingers slightly numb.
There goes my future career as a professional rollercoaster tester and bumpercar test dummy.
