    Well, power is out now.

Good thing I got my phone to keep in touch with my fellow hoarders.

Woke up wife and told her to let me know if she has any breathing problems.

Other than that, it's just dark.

Powers back on, for now at least.

Good thing too, I was worried the beer would get warm.

Future hoarder in the making. Nicely stacked, and he's done his homework. Now he'll get to experience the seasoning process.

Late to the party in the congratulations. Hope they are all doing well - guess I'll find out as I catch up with the 4 pages that have been posted since I was last here.

Even better - last night it was 66 when I got home so I turned on the pellet stove. The humidity in the house is only 71% now. Didn't realize it had gotten so high. Shouldn't surprise me I guess since I don't condition the air unless it is 80* inside, or less than 68* .

58* here this morning...ahhhh. If I never see another 90+ degree again it'll be too soon :hair:
When the rain and cold front blew through here at about 5:30 pm yesterday we had no ill effects from the storm at our house, but when driving home from dinner out last evening we found roads closed in 3 different places about 5 miles from here...assuming from trees down.

It was 66F here when I woke up, but crazy humid, like 97%. Currently down to 70% and that 66F is the high for the day. Welcome fall!

Gonna take the little girl to the park in a bit, then maybe hit up a boat dealer if they are still open. Not looking like that will work though.

It was mega windy yesterday morning until early afternoon here. A crappy Willow uprooted on my way into work and took out power for those on my short drive into work. There were 4 utility trucks there on my way into work. After 8.whatever hours later, the crappy Willow was still on it's side, but the power was on.

We had our first fire of the season in the stove, to go along with a good movie we rented, "a quiet place".

The neighbors family dropped of a whole tray of BBQ ribs and mini taters for taking care of their dog for a couple weeks. We still have some of that food left.

    Morning hoarders,
    :coffee:

50°F here this morning, with a supposed high of 57.
    :dancer:

Supposed to go get an apple tree tomorrow, don't know the size though.

No matter, I'll find a use for it either in the stove, or in the smoker.
    :fire: :grizz:

Hope the storms last night caused no more damage for everyone.

Hope things look a bit better this morning rottiman
    Is your generator OK?
