I get paid to go to the stihl distributor tomorrow and Thursday. Getting paid to run equipment, eat free food, and drink free beer is never bad. Hopefully some free stihl swag comes home with me too.

I have to stay outta town unfortunately. If anyone's near Cincinnati and wants to have a beer hit me up.

If it's not too out of place, I'll snap some photos while there.

Day 1 in the books at stihl training. I ran everything cutting and the related. Chain saws, cut off saws, battery op saws of all types, hedge trimmers, extending pole saws, and tons more. A solid hour was spent on chain id and the differences.

They firmly believe in buying all the the food and drinks too. :)

Day 2 resumes at 8am. Covering blowers, trimmers, edgers, and more tomorrow. I'm excited to learn more.

I'll post some pics when I get home tomorrow

Yep. Its official. I hate sleeping somewhere other than home.

I got up an hour early and now sitting in the parking lot because I didn't hardly sleep.

Hope they have the coffee pot going.

Same here. Been travelling for work for 10+ years and still have a hard time getting good sleep on the road.

Just ran the br800 backpack blower. That's not a typo. It's a prototype to be released next year.

It is freaking amazing and no heavier than the br700.

Unfortunately, pics were not allowed of this product. Stihl doesn't want pics on social media.

It destroyed the redmax ebz8500 ( and all others ) on the weight sled they demonstrated it on.

What you think of those battery chain saws? They said they are starting to sell a bunch of them.
    This is at Bryan Equipment?

I see on the Stihl Website they have great reviews and a lot of reviews. I wonder what the OP thinks of them? I probably wouldn't need one but I know a lot of people that would probably like something like that.

    Yep. At Bryan.

The msa200 is the largest of the battery chainsaws. It was surprisingly decent. Tested out in a 10 inch poplar cant and you could actually use the dogs. The other 2 smaller models didnt like being leaned on at all.
