We burn 80% pine and cedar and 20% oak. I tell people all the time that they shouldn't burn it in their stove because of the creosote monsters. You know because of the flammable pixie dust an infestation creates. I also mention that I'd be happy to come by and "get rid of it" for them for free in my creosote monster vaporizing machine.

Nice score. If I was to take all the free pine I came across in my area, my property would be filled. I guess I am a bit of a wood snob, and for the longest time I bought into the school of thought that you can't burn pine inside. Time to stock up on some for shoulder seasons and weekend wood.
When there's just a few tiny coals at the bottom of the outdoor wood boiler because I let it go for too long - pine is great for getting the fire going again. I try to mix it into my wood stacks pretty evenly.
