    The swamp next door has had its fill and even though my place hasn't had rain for at least a week, my yard on the swamp side still has standing water (I looked last night). I'm hoping for less rain than they forecast!

    Cold clear mornings here. Down to 38 to 40 F. I think we get rain for the rest of the week. I had a good day yesterday. I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes and that cake yooperdave is something else.

    watching the weather also. Looks like we will be on the edge of that storm, but just a short dive south of here, they are predicted to have heavy rain and flash flooding. I have a few things to move that I prefer not to have soaked.

    All they talked about around here for the past few days was how Tuesday is going to be a complete wash out with the remnants of Florence. I woke up to cloudy damp and humid conditions and after my run I saw blue sky. Almost 11AM, breezy and I still see blue sky with plenty of clouds. Hey am not complaining NJ does not need more rain.......!

    It's been raining since last night. On and off as the bands pass through. Sometimes it’s a downpour and others just a drizzle. NYC is supposed to get up to 4 inches, but I have no idea how much we’ll get.

    Much cooler today. Thankful for that. Spent most of the morning getting ready for hunting season which starts Oct 1. Got clothing and equipment around. Shot some arrows, etc.

    Have some running around to do this afternoon.
