Lookin for stove to take some of the load off the furnace,2500sqft. Lookin fir something that parts are easy to get.want to spend less than 1400,or tell me which ones I should stay away from.
These would be my choices 55-TRPCB120 - EPA Certified Pellet Stove - 2200 sq.ft (F2) 55-TRPIP - PELLET BURNING STOVE - 2,200 sq. ft. (F2) Or a used P61 or 8 but probably hard to find for 1400
Here is a good one! For Sale - Whitfield Advantage Plus WP-7 Top of the Line Wood Pellet Stove with SureFire Igniter-$1295
thanks for the replies everyone....rich250 thanks for the links.....very interesting and i might go that way, thank you. i looked on line at all the box store stuff... chance came up today to get a quadrafire santa fe for less than half of new with about 20 bags run thru it....38000 btu...cast iron parts in it. thoughts??
agree with this one. 120 Lb hopper is great for long runs, full fact. warranty, Made In The USA......free shipping to local loading dock.
Harman, Quadrafire & Whitfield are the most reliable pellet stoves. They are a good choice! I have the Quad Contour (The old “pie warmer”) which is the predecessor to the Santa Fe - Good Stove but some parts are less common, although they are available,
Too bad you weren't closer, I have a few great refurbs that would run you a little over half of what you want to spend.
Probably room for you on the dashboard....like one those little solar dancing toys.... you could dance a jig.
