    Guys I know I haven't been around much lately but if you could keep a friends family in your thoughts I'd appreciate it.

    A 23 young man took his own life this past week.

    He was a year younger than my youngest son and his oldest brother is my other son's very close friend.

    He was in Scouts with my boys, and we helped him get his Eagle Scout project done.

    No one knows why he did it.

    Wake is tonight and funeral tomorrow.

    So very sorry to hear that. Prayers sent to you and others connected to this very sad tragedy. Everyone should look up how to recognise symptoms of someone contemplating taking their life. Need not to be shy with intervention.

    Thanks, I appreciate that. So far my brother is doing well after surgery. We will just have to see what, if any, further treatment plan will be needed.
