3+" in the last 24 hrs, still coming down, flood warnings (again) and a hurricane coming mid-week. And did I mention that weeks ago passed our average total yearly rainfall? I am officially sick of this. I'm going to need to grow some gills and/or build an ark soon. P.S. Best wishes for those of you south and east of me during the hurricane.
I hear you mike bayerl it's been brutal around here with the rain. I enjoyed the cooler temps but this rain has got to go but like you say it don't seem be going anywhere anytime soon and that hurricane looming could be more rain this weekend, UGH!!!!
The remains of Gordon will rain on us later today and tomorrow. Florence, next weekrnd, maybe. We can use rain, unlike the Pennsylvania brethren. Stay safe further south. It looks to be a nasty one. I have relatives in the Cape Fear area of NC. I suspect they'll be heading inland in the couple of days.
Looks like it's going to be hurricane after hurricane hitting us. I joined an intramural soccer league this year and our first game was supposed to be Sunday, all cancelled. I don't know if it's worth looking forward to next Sunday.
It's getting ridiculous. And Hurricane Florence is due to affect us next weekend.....praying for our members and their families down on the Carolina coast!
