    So, you are running a saw and don't even know how that chain goes on the bar??? I thought about answering this and explaining how to do it but then thought different about it. No, he should not be running a saw.

    Sounds like the guy who took his saw back to the dealer because he couldn’t cut much wood with his new saw. The dealer started it right up and the customer asked what’s that noise coming from the saw? :rofl: :lol:

    I think even the cheap box store saws come with a book that explains these tragic breakdowns. Maybe start from page one and work through.

    Since you lot said I were sharpening it wrong mines not been out of shed . New chain and file before it gets used again.
    I read the manual, watched the videos and asked on hear about changing it .
    If all three are the same that’s pretty good for a starting point

    If I go to Frankenmuth, that means chicken dinner and not fixing chain saws.

    I have no idea why the people put that in their ads. It apparently is meaningless.

    "Absolutely! I can help. I'm a certified chainsaw chain installer. Due to the specialization of my craft the going rate is $89.00 per hour with a 4 hour minimum. I have a mobile repair vehicle where I can bring the tool needed to complete this repair right to your door. We offer free sharpening with every installation. I just happen to have an opening, when can I start?"
