Hey Midwinter to be honest, I'm not sure yet.
Haven't priced anything out yet, my initial thought was to enclose with 2x4's and T111 siding, but I am also heavily leaning towards Poly Panels as they will allow for light in during the day.

These we have around the porch on the house, and they've held up well (a bit cloudy over the years, but still allow for light, and haven't broken down).
Very easy to put up and take down.

May end up with a mix of both, but until I figure out cost, I can't be 100% sure it'll be covered or not this year.

Thx Loon it's definitely something I'll think about.
I think the plastic could work, but would need quite a bit of support structure to withstand the wind and snow/rain over the fall/winter/spring.

Tarps were/are still on the list for alternatives to long term coverage.

Fortunately, I think there's still a bit of time before the snow fly's so I have some time.

    But you are correct..
Heck, till a couple of weeks ago I figured the tractor would be just outside in the elements, then I realized that there was basically a 'lean-to' just waiting to be utilized.

Started last weekend, and finished (deconstruction) today, I'm happy with the progress I made so far.
    :D

Was 45* this morning. Has made it all the way up to 50. 68* in the house - now, after running the little pellet stove (64 inside earlier).

Well, I didn't get half of what I wanted to get done yesterday. The lawn got mowed though.:) So there's that. The 4runner absolutely needs a full cleaning, as we'll be taking it next weekend for tailgating.

Pics proof n all ya know...;)
Same here...rainy, about 55*. It was supposed to be a really nice weekend but then the track of that hurricane changed and now its rain all weekend, supposed to be 4-6" total by tonight!
The worst part is I decided to re-side the garage last week...and as per usual, it turned out to be a bigger project than I planned on...which means its not completely done...in other words, there are things getting wet that shouldn't be! :hair:

In other news, our local county fair started yesterday and it is in kind of a low lying area, they were evacuating the animals yesterday in preparation for the flooding that they say is coming today...they'll probably set a new all time low attendance record today
