Another hot and sticky day here. Rain supposed to roll in later this afternoon and stick around through the weekend...supposed to get 3"-5" total.

Starting to get loaded up to head south. Vacation starts in 24 hours.

Had a real downpour last evening but fortunately it was short lived. Got .4" in just a couple minutes. The funny part was I had a board meeting to go to. I ran to the garage in the pouring rain then drove out of it a short distance from home. Got to the hall and had to go from car to hall in another pouring rain.

The good side is that today we see temperatures in the 60's!!!!! Finally. Now if we could just get rid of this humidity.

Caffeine in. Dropped truck off to have new front brake pads put on. Moved some stuff around with the tractor.

Yesterday morning I was able to finish bucking up the rest of that Ash and Pine.

Take care of a few things around the house and barn now and go to work for a while.

Lucky you! We have the cooler weather but the humidity is still way too high. At present, temp 63, humidity 83%, dewpoint 59. So it is still fairly easy to work up a sweat. But being sandwiched between the lakes our humidity tends to be a bit higher than yours.

69F here. 45% humidity, and a frost advisory for northern areas. now the weatherman is discussing a possible hit from a hurricane. I think it is too early on to make any real predictions. Darn Hurricanes have a habit of stripping all the leaves off the trees or knocking them over pulling the roots right up from the ground.

Yes. Mostly. I haven’t put the horse stable doors on the back to the pasture yet. But the big sliders for the ends went on the fall of the year we built it. I think snow had flown once or twice. LOL trim Work has been completed. (Perforated metal soffit and metal fascia.) it’s looking pretty nice. Some inside work done on tack room, office, chicken pen, etc. Doing a little at a time and when we have the dough.

This reminds me that I have 10 gallons of hydraulic oil in the shed in HD buckets that I need to dump in the Broncos fuel tank.

We've got a ton of inland lakes though, as well as lake Superior and lake Michigan. I don't think there is any correlation to any higher humidity.
