My boss talked me into two monitors at work and now I don't know how I did everything on a small rectangle monitor.

I didn't know they came curved. I am just using two mismatched, different sized ones at home until I can afford new ones. They will be my retirement gift to myself - if I ever retire. Are the curved ones like an optical glass or just curved around to fit better on the desk?

 

Was behind the cheddar curtain this morning and while leaving one town, we went past the annual "Labor Day Wave Party". This is where a bunch of locals sit alongside the highway near a stoplight and wave good-bye to all the Illinois license plates as they head back south!!

Then tonight, they go downtown and watch the grocery store close and the one cop in town roll up the sidewalks for the night........................

 

Last day of Labor...Summer people some are not.

 

Until my laptop comes in, I'm on one big monitor at work, which really slows me down. I'm used to 2 decent sized monitors which allows me to have our ERP, plus email and or spreadsheets, and web pages open.

I'll have to re ask again about my laptop. They are not THAT busy.

 

Got a fresh coat of paint on this wall but ran out with square feet left....

 

Yeah, I do that, but there's just not enough real estate.

 

This tree is growing from a rock. It is at the base of Mt. Rushmore alongside the viewing area. We saw many examples of this same growth again and again. The rocks must have split open to reveal some soil underneath them. It is about 7"-8" diameter.



2nd pic shows all the flags of the 50 states. The tree is on the end of this walk to the right. And a few more random pics.

 

Curved to improve your view of them. I have 48 inch desk and these fill in a semi circle so most things are the same distance. helps with my vision.

 

Lol I know the feeling! After this weekend the population of my neighborhood drops about 50%

 

How's Crazy Horse coming along? I haven't been up there for a few years.

 

Seems to be about the same. Myself, I can't find any change in it since the last time I saw it. But then, I just do a drive by.

 

Whew! Finally gave up on sleep-last night was a real bad one.

Caffeine in. First day of school for kids. Wife has no students in her district today but has to work. Meetings, training, etc. Time for me to get some things done around the house.
