He doesn't like the gmc part, but said he couldn't find a rcsb chev. Same thing, tells you its just a name brand thing. Is a pretty nice truck for what she is. I'd rather a long box myself....

You may have to take into consideration that the price is in Canadian dollars which is 1.25% higher than US dollars.

Power went out once this morning as a thunderstorm moved through. All is well now.

The kids had a great kayak holiday except for a flat tire. Last week they sent us the flat via other people so we dealt with it and then Thursday night delivered it back to them. Beautiful beaches to holiday on. Last night they showed us some pictures of the trip. I was thinking how technology has changed but our family traditions haven't. When I was a little girl, we would get out the film projector and screen and sit and watch home movies of holidays. When the kids were young, it would be the slide projector and screen. Last night, we plugged the camera into the computer which was using the TV as a monitor and sat and watched holiday pictures.

The best part is not having to pay to get film processed and returned.

Glad they had a good time and hope they took lots of pics and video.

Well, they took lots of pictures when they weren't in 6 ft waves trying to get to their destination. Videos take too much battery life so she limits it to still pictures and yes they had a great time.

Dealing with our spotty cell service up north. At least we have the best service you can get up here, otherwise it would be zero or super spotty coverage.

I need to remember to get a WiFi repeater for the shed, so it can extend mom's wifi to where our camper is.

We spent a lot of time on the pontoon boat yesterday. It turned out to be a really nice day despite a little rain in the am, then the clouds broke and it got really nice out.

We saw several loons, and eagles, as well as a super bright shooting star at dusk. That shooting star was awesome as it wasn't dark out at all, and it was really bright. I don't ever recall seeing one like that ever. My wife saw it too, after I told her about it, since it arced across the sky for a long time.

Then we had a loon hanging out by our boat, calling. That was very cool. My wife's never seen one calling, and I've never seen one calling that close to a boat.

The dogs were nice and quiet too, just watching the wildlife from their seats.

I'll try to post up a picture later. My attempt to take a video of it calling didn't work.

The loon didn't have great reception either, so he/she flew off to go home after a successful day of fishing.
    ;)

The loon taking off in flight showed my wife how they can get stuck when the lakes start to freeze up. They need a long runway of open water before they get airborn. The wingtips flapping the water for a long time before they fly off. Loons must weigh a lot compared to other birds their size, adding to the list of things that go against them for ease of flight.

Took the wife your way today. We checked out middlebury and rode around Burlington some before she had way too much time riding. She wanted to stop at Ben and jerrys but you couldn't even find a place to park. At least she can say she's been there.
