Some of you have followed my previous posts titled summer break begins and July was fairly productive. Well here is pretty much the end product of my summer break. Tuesday is back in the classroom teaching high school kids. The long piles are either all oak or mixed hardwood cut to 16". The one small pile by the cones are cutoffs which get sold to guys with small stoves. The 3 pallets is long wood measuring around 20"-24" in length. That will go to one or two people with larger fireplaces. The picture of the wood in the carport is uglies that I burn in my OWB. And the picture of logs is what I didn't get to yet. All totaled, I figure right around 90 cords of wood to sell which is an off year for me but I spent more time doing fun things with the kids this summer. I also spent 4 full days in training for a new class and 6 days in Antigua so I would say I'm happy with what I got done. Delivery starts in a couple weeks and I already have orders for 27 cords. This will be all be gone quickly this fall.
So you slacked by the pool all summer did ya? Impressive amount of work. You definitely have earned the rewards.
Yeah, only 90 cord done in a few weeks, what a slacker. Impressive amount of work there jrider It's good you spent some quality family time as well.
That is impressive, especially considering the weather we’ve had in the NE this summer. Lose a few lbs along the way by chance lol?
Great job. If ya get tired up there, come on down to GA with that splitter. We've got several big piles of logs to CSS. Grass cutting this summer along with my regular 40+ hr week job has kept us away from the wood pile mostly....
