My yard has gone to hell since it’s been too warm for me to do much outside. Saturday looks like a nice day. I need to order my pellets, too.

I hear ya Bear this may cost me my job but I am prepared to take a stand, I have never felt pain like this before and I am guessing its because I kept going into work in chronic pain for 3 months this trip same amount 2 years ago and even longer 5 years ago, all shoulder injury's just did not take time off from work.

Always in pain comes with getting old and doing stupid crap all your life but I think I went into surgery with a frozen shoulder in addition to all the crap the Doc took care of in surgery. Making good progress as far as mobility considering just have to find a way to deal with the pain so I can get some dang sleep.

    Thanks Smoke

Liking the chill in the air and the lack of dang humidity knowing it will be back soon, but heh just have to figure out the pellet situation.

Many Years ago, I worked for the delivery subsidiary company for the Boston Globe . My had was crushed in a car accident on the job (I was a passenger training a new driver in their car). After being out for over 1 year on comp (company wouldn't let me come back until I couldn't do 100% of my job) I back to college.

Eventually I tried to go back to my old job-I could easily do 100% of the job and when I went out I was in on track to manage my own location . My former manager wanted me back but the company said no. I talked to a lawyer who said he could fight the case but asked if I really wanted to work at a company that didnt want me there. I made the decision to move on.

In today's litigious society, the lawyer would likely just go for a monetary settlement. It wasnt like that 30 years ago.

Oh, the real reason the company didnt want me back was that another worker and I led a drive to get our company into the same union as the Boston Globe. The Globe's union officials were on our side and they represented us. The drive ended in court where we ultimately lost as the board declared us management. Being the managers right hand man, I was very close to being actual management and told the union officials not to use me in court. They still called me and that backfired.

    What I was doing yesterday:

Pellet stove pipes removed from window
    Pellet stove pipe removed (window).jpg

    Stove pipes removed from stove
    pellet stove pipe removed-closer.jpg

Rigid foam installed rigid foam installed behind stove.jpg

I'm planning on moving the stove over to that corner so it isn't aimed straight at the back of the stairs to the main floor.
