    Okay I must be a bad parent, my daughter and I went down to drop off a dog that we were babysitting for a few days. My little girl 13 years old, cannot work a key and a deadbolt and a doorknob!:jaw:
    To be fair we don't quite know where the keys to our house are so it's not really her fault and I quote. Dad I Blame You:loco: :crazy::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    All my keys to cars tractors etc are in ignition..

    I live in a very safe town and work from home.

    We felt the same until two young men came up from NY and broke into a home a took a machete to a father and daughter in an attempt to rob them. Just to be on the safe side, I've installed a video security system. I've got PTSD, I'm usually looking over my shoulder as it is. I feel much much more at ease now that my son and his family have moved in upstairs.

    savemoney I understand how you feel, I have a 95 lb Sheppard, know whose been in drive cause of tire tracks.. A neighbor stopped by when I went to the store to get diesel, I knew somebody's been in the driveway and taking a right out of it just because of the tracks, in the summer. Besides the fact I've got a gun or 2, and this past Tuesday had 10 visitors before noon!! Not a normal household!!

    I cut up some hardwood cutoffs (I got a few years back) today and then split the larger ones and stacked everything. Of course, I had help, BUT .......

    I was bent over for hours and now the knees are giving up. Doesn't look good for the future years ahead....

    All this was for the kicker stove in the basement, so it wasn't that big of a job to begin with. DSCN0315.JPG

    Here is a pic of when I bought the stuff back when; there were three piles like this. They are about 4 feet long
