Well still on the road of recovery a road I do not ever want to take again without any doubt in my mind, I will be taking better care of my shoulders at the least. Still out of work the Doc wanted me to stay out 6 weeks before returning light duty but am going to have to give him a call this week as they (my company) is expecting me back first week of September. My second post op with the Doctor is six weeks from the date of surgery(9-14-18) .
Making progress for sure have found a simply exceptional Physical therapist and could not be happier to have found her.

Had a scare with my rescue Yorkie and we almost lost her which would have really sucked as it was only a week after surgery and had to take her to the hospital / vets a few times but she pulled through and has been loving having me home for the last 4 weeks. She is almost 18 but in great shape and full of pizz and vinegar like you have never seen.

Got a feeling my company was starting to wonder if I was coming back as I got a call last week asking if I was driving yet ? which i replied yes short distances and they said well your new truck is here when your ready to pick it up . Finally they got me a 4x4 a brand new Sierra Limited very nice truck really happy with it got everything I could need but most importantly four wheel drive !
Also has a V-8 as opposed to the 6's they usually come with at least for this company.

When I can first thing I have to do is pull the tool box as I don't use it and can't load pellets over the wheel wells with that damm thing there, plus cannot see worth a chite behind me while driving on the highway changing lanes, does have a backup camera .
Trying to figure out how I am going to get my pellets setup , that few day chill brought it to my attention.

    Anyways hope all are well

    Thanks !!!

I havnt been stung since I was a kid. Now twice in 2 months. First was a hornet at work 2 months ago and that pain only lasted 20 minutes. This last MoFo got me real good. Luckily I'm not allergic, so it was bear the pain time and carry on.

I need tunes (MP3 player). I overthink EVERYTHING, so need the slight distraction or I cause myself stupid issues by concentrating too hard.

Glad your pup pulled thru! Also sounds like you are dong well with the PT, so that is good too. Don't rush things, and take the full 6 weeks after surgery. I know people that have had to go thru a 2nd surgery beause they were doing something minor while still in recovery, thought what they were doing couldn't possibly cause problems - but it did.

What, you mean this isn't the arctic Circle? We get days and sometimes weeks of subzero temp, we sometimes get snow up higher than we stand. We get winds that will chill you right to the bone. I have no idea how any animal survives outside during the winter. Sometimes the hurds of dear have a drastic thinning.

The blue one is a 1994 Road King and ours is a 2006 Road King. My buddy will upgrade this winter to a Road Glide Ultra. I can't spend 30k on a bike.

Used is definitely the way to go - both my Street Glides hawere used, with <25k miles - and 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of new. Loved my 2006 SG but always wanted the bigger gas tank and extra gear. Does the '06 RK have those upgrades (I don't recall what models got them when).

No it doesn't. Its a 88 ci engine with a 5 speed. I wish we had the 96 or 103 with the 6 speed, but I didn't want to take a loan. I found this bike for my insurance settlement from the old bike. Had to add a few hundred bucks. Went from a 2000 with 39k miles to a 2006 with 11k miles. Plus the fairing and radio. The new bike has a few performance upgrades also. Wifey waned me to sell a car I have and buy a newer bike, but that would have meant a wait until this winter to get the new bike. We really ride primarily on Sundays and don't really "tour". The new bike will serve the purpose and I believe its worth more than the old bike if we do decide to sell/trade in and upgrade in the next few years.
