Hey, I have a 2.1 Craftsman Powersharp with that same butterknife-shaped bar. And here I was thinking it was just a ridiculous amount of wear.
I see that from time to time on vintage saws. Kinda a sign of the times, like tail fins on a caddy I guess.
Fuzz if one of the Homelite xl or 240's run I'd buy it off ya... I don't really need a project saw right now but I'd love another running top handle homelight. My old one was really nice.
The first bar on Dad's 1981 Poulan 3400 Counter Vibe was a 18" banana nose like that one.Really do some close in & easy boring cuts with it.Unfortunately you couldn't flip it over to reduce the wear like normal radius bars,so within a few short years it was toast.
I only ask if u guys can be patient with me. This is moving into new house week ! May need a couple extra days to get things ready.
