    Yup. Partly why I stopped riding one a long time ago. My dad was right. Those damm things are dangerous and you have absolutely NO protection. But I wouldn’t hear it as you are indestructible when you are young. Had to nearly get killed to see he was right. Got lucky.

    Sadly, it is like that here too. We get snow every year, but there are still lots of folks that think they are skilled enough to pass everyone and, as you say, you pass them a few miles later.

    The problem with 4 wheel drive is that they do not stop any better than a 2 wheel drive.

    Heck you won't even go off the road with four wheel drive.
