Ok....what are they, and what will you do with them? The markings make me think of striped bass from the ocean. But, not in Arkansas It does look like a fine haul.
The big one is a striper, and the little ones are white bass. They are stocked in Northern Arkansas. There were 6 of us fishing that morning so we divided them up.
Based on the fact that the pic was taken around Mother’s Day, I hope they at least got filleted and frozen by now...
My wife is Filipino so they were all just gutted and scaled. The striper was stuffed with lemon grass, garlic and onion wrapped in foil and cooked on the grill. The little ones usually get boiled with vinegar and vegetables
How often is Balut served in the GrJfer household? Tried it once. I was drinking... a lot..... probably never again.
