Clear breezy morning this morning. Last day of work for this week. It has been nice and quiet and busy for me. Next week will see more people in and out of the building. Looking forward to the weekend.

Sorry for your loss but it sounds as if he had a good life and lived long.

Just came in to take a break. Working on filling in some spots in the driveway. Still putting the tractor to work.

A friend of mine was here a couple days ago and saw my new crossbow. Then he called me yesterday to say he's been researching it. Called again last night to tell me about some show on tv and they were highlighting that bow. Then he called again this morning. I think he is excited. Said he is coming out again today. Maybe he wants to shoot it .

Got what looks to be an all-day soaker setting in here.

Bad timing as I currently have an exposed trench leading to a 5" hole through my basement wall. There's a low spot in the middle of the trench and my soil drains well so I should be OK...just need to keep an eye on it. I have what I need to make an emergency repair just in case.

Taking the night off tonight. No chores. No projects. Just sitting down for a while.

What a relief, finally got the cell antenna fixed, running, retuned. Also Wilson Electronics is sending a different, better antenna out for free.

Welp, so much for not doing anything this evening. The yard looked like a jungle so I had to mow it. My BIL is putting in a new post frame building and drilled a post hole right through his water line so I'm going to go help him repair it. That should be some good times.

Ouch! That’s not fun at all. Good luck with the repair.

Actually, they did. The water co-op we're on will only mark from the main to the meter. Once it gets past the meter it's your baby.

Today is supposed to be dry, with increasing sun in the afternoon. Now, it's just a bit cloudy. As the afternoon rolls on, it is supposed to get really humid as well. 82 is supposed to be the high temp. Now tomorrow, it's supposed to be nearly 90° again, and super muggy and sunny until about 4 pm when it might t storm. So I'm conflicted as to which of the days this weekend is a boat day. I'm thinking tomorrow, because I won't even want to be outside tomorrow unless I'm in the water. So we'll probably have to get off the lake early. Oh well.

Also our boating friends will be going out tomorrow. That always makes it gooder. We get like 4-5 boats out there and hang out in the bay.

I sure hope the lake association guy the weed cutter out and harvests a record crop in front of our bay. I've never seen it so tall, with all of these super hot 90°+ days we've had, and lowering lake levels, the weeds are epic past where our sandy bay goes. Some guys are trying to putt through the thick weeds, others go fast then cut the throttle to the place with the clear bay area we all hang out, then there's guys with inboard ski boats that go all the way around and hug the shore to avoid weed build up on our props and driveshafts.

Ok, we're usually on the water by now. Tomorrow is the boat day., Even if we have to hey if the lake early. So we have choices. Play tennis before is gets too humid, go watch a movie at a theater, or go out to dinner tonight. Maybe all or 2 or those things? Monday is our 7th anniversary, and we've been together 15 years this July. The restaurants we'd like to go to are all closed on our actual anniversary on Monday. So we can take advantage of this day off the lake.

We also just booked a trip to Maui for my wife's birthday in November. That should be really nice. I've never been to Hawaii, and we're going someplace she used to go with her family when she was a kid.

15 of us just finished breakfast at Cracker Barrell. I’m looking to see if they sell some type of wheels in the store to roll me to the vehicle.
