I cleaned up the area some (2 small loads of branches) so I could buck up the last of the pine and then split it. Attached are some better pictures of the double trunk pine but before that comes down, I'll stack the pine that's in the drop zone.
The area that I'm stacking will be our shoulder season wood for the fall of 2019, it should hold close to 1.86 cord of pine. Once I'm done with the stacking in this area we'll be two years ahead on our shoulder season wood with number three up before fall.
All I can say is “Wow!”, having got through those pages and finally seeing some firewood too. Not that your hardwork with the tractor will go unnoticed! Sorry to hear about the break ins. Take care thewoodlands!
I love that really neat look you have there. But it won't be long before you have that area filled with something. We can't help it!
It's been done since the second week of August.....I think. I'll start insulating the back wall and eight feet down both side walls and then the OSB goes on. Once that is done, I'll build some shelves for storage and put up a workbench. We'll wait until next year and then do more insulation and OSB. It's been nice to have the tractor inside. I had the 500 hundred hour checkup done around the 600 hour mark along with all the fluids and filters changes, everything looked good according to the mechanic at the dealership.
That went along well for you. Thanks for the update and pictures. Looks like you have a good home for your tractor and other things. From what I can see, there won't be a problem with water getting into the base.
