Man you guys have been getting hammered down there. I think it kind of missed us again. We got some rain earlier this evening but nothing severe. Stay dry out there!

My lawn is dead brown at the moment. We have had a dry August in parts of NE WI.

2nd wettest summer on record. I'm located in that area too Greg so I know exactly how you're feeling. It's been killing business at the shop (I work on motorcycles as a day job).

Sorry man, not many nice days to ride! But looks like Friday and Saturday have some hope. Soon people will begin wondering what all this means for the winter.

I understand the wet. Our eldest son lives by Reading and he tells me all the time how wet it is. Nasty.

Its been very wet at the NJ shore this year also. I'm in the lawn care business so I feel your pain lol. One good thing about the soil out here is it's very sandy so it dries out a lot quicker than the soil I'm familiar with in PA.

We had the best thunderstorm I can remember last week. Constant lightning, looked like someone set up a strobe light outside lol. One strike was so close to the house it made my doorbell ring.

I think everyone else has been getting all our rain. This is a second year that here in the Pacific NW we are having an exceptionally dry and hot spring and summer! My lawn has never had less moss, the moles are seeking out our septic drain field to burrow for dampness and our bird bath is nightly assaulted by raccoons and deer who all but suck it dry. A night or two ago I saw a raccoon plopped in the bird bath like it was a wading pool.

The storm rolled in around 2:30am and I got up around 3 figuring the kids would be woken up by it. I decided to just hangout in the living room and watch it and within 5 seconds of pulling up the window blind there was a big strike and the door bell rang. I stayed away from the windows after that lol.

Since June 1st, reading PA has had just over 23" of rain. Thankfully my part of south jersey hasn't seen anything like that.
