Congrats! CDL drivers are in great demand so you could go anywhere you want with that in your back pocket.

Want extra fun? Tow a half full unbaffled tanker, the surge when you're braking and turning will take most of the weight off the front wheels. Fun time!

Though, loaded tri axle dump trucks @77k lbs were probably the biggest pucker inducing ride.

I gave up my CDL a year ago after not using it for 9 years....and not wanting to go back either.

I got a class A in 2002 and won’t let it expire. It’s saved is a few times. I may not like it but it’s s job within a few hours.... It’s a fall back career for me and pays well. I won’t let it go because of that. I’ve got lots off good and bad memories with it that’s for sure.

When I hauled milk we did lots of DFA and they are horrible at communicating... We did lots of partial or over full tanks to the wrong process plants and it was always the wrong direction of where it was supposed to go too.
Very frustrating... I loved full tanks:thumbs::rofl:

The best memories by far are from my OTR days early on. It was still an adventure back then now it’s just boring and lonely to go OTR. :picard:

Interestingly enough the city my employers shop is based out of is St Johns MI and the just landed a 555 million DFA processing plant deal. It’s gonna be a huge plant!

$555 million dairy processing operation will add nearly 300 jobs in St. Johns

Another gorgeous day here in paradise. Three days left to enjoy it. Last year I transplanted my yellow rose from behind the RV to a container out in the open. This year I have 9 roses on it and I can see it from the kitchen window. I am looking forward to it doing well in the coming years.

Frustrating note: I am setting up the new computer which sadly has updated its Windows 10 and now I have lost Homegroup. Just before it did the update, I was able to Homegroup all three computers and was feeling quite pleased seeing as one of the computers is still Windows 7. Anyone have a work around to this?

Seems like a good organizational method to me. I have 3 tape measures sitting on my desk.......never know when I'll need one. Seriously.

Thanks! :) yeah that area of that bay has some wicked steep cliffs, hills, what have you. Mind you NFLD is almost nothing but cliffs and hills, but something about that part really strikes me driving up the road.

That is like some stupid idiot in college telling students that nobody gets an A in his or her class. They are so stupid that they don't realize that is a bad reflection on themselves rather than the students.

Pete, I just heard about that one a few days ago. It definitely should help the area but I wonder what effect it might have on MI Milk?
