    We were there for years.

I am bad about going 95% and not finishing. The pantry I built out next to the kitchen still has no trim...3 years later:whistle:

Have windows on 2 opposite walls of the basement area?
Open one for intake, go across the way and put a box fan in the other....seal around box fan beat you can for a great exhaust system.
BTDT. Keeps the air a little cleaner, less dust to vac up, too.
But I’m sure you’re already doing this, CBVT:yes:

She is really sweet and a great cook. Kind hearted I did well on this one.. We are just different people.. MIL was widowed at 27 with new born and 3 year old ( my wife) husband was building dream home when a freak snowstorm collapsed roof.

She thinks I should sell out and buy a condo.. Nearest neighbor is at least .3 miles away not an accident..

;) My mother in law is the same way. Drives my wife nuts. I just sit back and have a few beers. Maybe chuckle a little.

I was half joking..........sort of. Sounds like you not only have a great partner, but a great MIL too. Carry on.
My take is this......if you want to clean, just don't get in my way when I'm trying to make a mess.:dancer:

Ha! You think YOU'RE slow? I'm so slow, I can do a hundred yard dash in....wait, I can't do that anymore.
Uh, well, I'm so slow, I make a turtle in a snowstorm in -20 temps look like a Cheetah chasing a Gazelle across the Serengeti.

It bugs me I will be at My MIL house doing some probject my wife volunteered me for, like installing 6ft of upper and lower cabinets in her current kitchen. I will have tools out that we keep there that are hers. Or like a box of screws or a tape. I will use something and set it down and looking for it a few hours later after several minutes of looking I am like where is the drill or screwdriver I laid here. She is like oh I put it away. I'm sorry. She says I was just trying to clean up. I'm thinking I am in the middle of working...why would we put stuff up in the middle of it. Tools lay out where needed until done...then we put them up, not in between each time you actually put your hand on a tool.??:loco:

Things can lay around for years at my house. If it's in plain sight, you can find it again...
