Bag #235 in the hopper today. I probably would have burned more, but I lost a few days due to an auger motor breakdown, and I also struggled with a dirty burn off and on, so it could easily have been another 10-15 bags...and we're not done yet.

I don't think that works for the skillet upside the head.

I can just see it now. The stove goes out, and Jay suddenly hears a familiar female voice behind him...."You thought we had enough? You had HOW many beers?

It will be bag #212 tonight, I turn the pellet stove on around 8 PM and usually shut it off my 8 AM. Burning about a half bag a day now so I have plenty to finish the season. Hell, the season should be done NOW! :hair:

The way things are going up here it will be later than that this year. There was a Polar Plunge to support the Special Olympics on the lake down the street from me yesterday. It was scheduled for this time of year because the organizers figured the ice would be away from the shore by now. They were on the ice Friday afternoon with a backhoe and chainsaws cutting a hole for people to jump into. The ice chunks the backhoe pulled out are still 3 feet thick.

I had the stove on until June last season(usually its off by Memorial day!). We had a few rainy days that needed a quick fire to get the chill out. Didn't really use much pellets as the stove was only on for a few minutes. A bag was lasting several days IIRC.

Seems our seasons have grown on both ends. Start before October 1st and now end in June. :loco:

I've burned in June before. A quick fire to take the chill off like you said. Not counting electricity, I figure it only costs pennies pellet wise. I bought the stove to keep me warm, I don't pay attention to the calendar.

You are getting old, you need more heat, and the climate disruption is currently going to the cool side. Better planing for next winter. Gorbul temps have been flat for the last 17 years and 8 months.

Word is we should see some next week. Prolly get 10 to 15 as a kicker depending on what they are. If they are decent we might refill the whole stash? Gonna try to clear out some clutter and make some more stuffing room. If not I'll get a ton extra delivered in the fall and cover outside. Once I get room we'll haul em in.

I still got the 30 some bags of Cubex-Plus 48 bags of Hamers. Just don't want to touch them in the warm if you know what I mean!

Gonna cost a pretty penny to replace them! :(

I really don't have a clue why I'm saving mine. I can get by with a decent box brand. I think I got attached to these?

Since the MWP seems to handle things around here I don't need to replace them.
