This box has some meaning to me me and my dad built it back on the 80s we use to keep it in the front porch and load it with wood after we moved from there it sat in a barn for years and my boys even used it as a toy box at one time but I'm planning on reusing it for what it was built for

I use a storage box for the garage firewood at the lake. I keep it inside the garage-no issues with moisture/snow/ice etc.

I also keep a stack right outside the door (under the car port/lean to) that is ready to burn.

I have two wood boxes in the garage that I use. One for kindling and the other for the splits.

I got the boxes from work years ago. Some heavy equipment was shipped in them.

If I want to get them out of the garage in the summer I can put wheels on them and drag them to the polebarn.

I just use a wheel barrow to haul wood to the garage during the winter. The wheels on the wood boxes are just for moving the boxes empty and then the wheels come off.

The box has meaning to you so you should keep it and even use it where you can see it.
