    Maple sleeping now, but she's getting around good when she feels up to it! Everyday getting better! Still gotta take it easy - minimal recovery time is 8 weeks!

    She's getting that "glow" back to her!

    Long road to recovery, then the other leg. Hopefully by spring, she'll be running again. I miss the days where she could just be a normal dog.

    We ended up blocking off the living room to keep her in. Getting the run of the house (one level) is to much for her. She starts feeling good, next thing you know, she's following into the kitchen, the bedroom, ect. This is to much already for her. Great she wants to play with Saucy, but she'll end up slipping or getting hurt.

    That look I think is her getting the effects of the anesthesia out of her system. You remember back when she had her other surgery and she was a few days getting that normal behavior back. That anesthesia is really rough on those fur friends.

    We were lucky with the late monsoons for a few days in a row, gorgeous weather!! But, afternoon storms returned today, Blackie is comfortable, dumbed down with the meds from the vet and no longer terrified from the thunder or storm, or barometer or whatever it is that panics him.
