So last night we had horrible rains and this big (~24" DBH) red oak fell down and took out another smaller red oak. So, I see about 1.5-2 cord of primo firewood here. Unfortunately, I'm WAYYYY behind on C/S/S firewood, so I would like to invite some of you over to help clean this up. "Many hands make light work." I'll be working on this every weekend and maybe some weekday evenings until it's done. If you want to stop by and help and go home with a truckload of firewood, then please send by a PM to make arrangements. I would really love the help and the company. FWIW, I'm in 17078. Thankfully, it fell into an unused pasture. No damage to anything. A few small branches fell into our lane, but my neighbors cleared that out before they even bothered to come up and let me know. It pays to have good (or at least tolerable) neighbors.

Wish we were a bit closer mike bayerl I'd burn 9-10 hr's round trip. Doesn't leave a lot of time to play unless I make a weekend of it. How's the hotel situation nearby?
