I am enjoying the last week of my staycation. We have been sampling the local seasonally restaurants in the area. Needless to say the fish and chips at one restaurant is excellent.

We are getting the smell of smoke in the area occasionally. I guess that thunder and lightening storm Sat. morning set off a few fires up here. Nothing too local, thankfully. Mornings have been gloomy with the low overcast but it burns off by noon so we can enjoy the sunshine and get clothes dry on the line.

Yellowstone is beautiful and wondrous, and was very crowded and very congested my first time there last August.

I'm not real fond of Ensure simply because I had to drink that for a long time while healing. It gets old sort of fast. Right now I can't seem to come up with the name of that other one like Ensure but I like that a little better. When I get that it is in chocolate.

Chocolate ice cream milkshakes with Carnation Instant Breakfast Powder Packet mixed in

I've even mixed them into brownie mix and banana breads for my father, good stuff :)

    Boost?

Another day of work almost in the books. Short week for me...taking Friday off for a camping trip. Back on the road next week.

Pretty hot and sweaty out today....good thing I have plenty of indoor projects to keep me busy.

I haven't had ice cream in months. I do agree with your theory.

It's a short week for me as well. I'll be headed to the Packers preseason game vs the Steelers on Thursday night, and staying over night in Green Bay. I never get over the history of going to Lambeau field. It's supposed to be in the lower 70's. That will be much different than the last time I was there when it was the hottest game ever played in the history of Lambeau field. It was like 96 degrees iirc.
