I just got back not an hour ago from doing a BJ's run with a childhood friend having a party next weekend for our old neighborhood gang. She needed my truck and spent $650.00 on supplies. My wife and I were in their wedding, and she and her husband were in our wedding 35 yrs. ago. As I was in her kitchen looking at her party to do list, I saw the line to get some firewood. I read it out loud, she looked at me and said, I got find some place to get wood. I said, I think I can take of that. She said I didn't want to ask you. If she's shelling out the cost of a big gtg, I can certainly bring some wood.:)

I was talking, of course, about pics of the tractor bucket overflowing with firewood. :whistle:I don't think there is anything creepy about that. What were you thinking of?

My friends are apparently pretty great. Nobody wants firewood from me or they offer to pay me without being asked to.

I make the same offer to everyone I know with a backyard fire pit. You're welcome to come up and cut all the wood you want. No one has taken me up on it.

one should always help a good looking neighbor. Luckily no one asks me for wood, because it’s too much work. I sell some to some people who can’t get their hands dirty,$120 per pick up, and they are . One guy offered to help me cut and split, but I am a nut with maintaining my equipment. Plus, putting a pro level saw in a rookies hands seems dangerous to them and my saw. Look but don’t touch!!

The only issue I have is at my family's cottage where I keep a facecord stack pretty stocked up at all times. It seems to me the neighbors help themselves whenever they please. It's kind of annoying but everyone there gets along so its one of those "pick your battles" type of deals where now I just bring all the uglies/undesirable woods down there that I don't have room for at home.

I did have another buddy ask me if he could buy "a couple cords" off me because he was going camping for a weekend...lol. I told him I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what a cord is.
