I feel like it's never going to be cold again. I don't see anything but hot and humid as far out as the forecast goes. :(

It is supposed to hit 90 today and tomorrow but it's not bad right now. I'd rather see 60 than 90.

It's already 80°f @10:00 AM it'll be 95°f this afternoon and lots of smoke, seems like there's not a summer that goes by anymore that we don't have BIG FIRES! 132,000 acres in Redding, Ca and 1067 homes burnt to the ground.

Same here. I burned wood until July 3, then the drought hit instantly again. I'm down to 6 weeks before winter hits though. Weird having winter, and summer without a spring or fall. (Seemingly)

At noon it is already 90 outside. Yuck. Don't know how some folks can stand it being this temperature all summer. I prefer 70's mostly in summer although low 80's can be okay if it is not sticky. Supposed to cool by Tuesday but we still have about 6 more weeks of summer.

My God...I made the mistake of cutting wood in our heat and humidity yesterday and I just about passed out. My choice, I know. I had to stop loading my truck halfway and go back today to get the rest. It's just overwhelming.

Made it through yesterday okay. Simply stayed indoors all day.

Today does not look great as the dewpoint is already in the 70's and humidity at 84%. Yuck. Like a sauna outside. But, it does look like rain may be headed this way. Some already got here, or that is, almost got here. It simply broke up before it got to us, which seems quite normal around here.

90s here again. Seems like it's been this way since June.

I'll take it though - switching to an inside wood burning appliance means I need these stacks to dry more than usual. Bring on the heat!

Heat Index....for those did not catch it. He is in South Georgia nor South Kuait.

I think heat index stuff is fake type stuff and stuff the media touts to make it sound extreme and watch the cable networks to see the "death count" and the temps. I mean it's hot. 92f 95f 98f it feels like that with humidity. Sure I have been in some low humidity, and it feels hot and just less humid. Growing up here it just feels like the summer. 95f is 95f if it's humid it's humid, if it's dryer it is.

I was at the farm last week working. Supposedly a few days it was 96f or maybe a tough hotter. I had no idea it was that hot really.

Yep, we just used to the heat, like our northern friends are used to the cold. When we were younger, we just knew it was hot in the summer, the HI is like the WC in the winter. Hope you are doing fine in SC.
