Now down from 8 very large piles to this fire and three piles left. This pile is dead center of the entire dirt area.

Dock plate at work died this week. After inspecting the dock plate, was admiring their weld job. I’m surprised it lasted 10 years. With no penetration to the plates, only the footing. Cleaned it all up and rewelded up... Now good for a few more years....

I think that is pretty common. I have noticed an awful lot of "dressed up" couples show up at the big box stores about 7-8 PM on Friday and Saturday nights...seems like that would be right about "after dinner" time...

Glad your able to burn that stuff off. If you struck a match up here right now you'd be in handcuffs before you could blink your eyes. They said on last night's news that we have 211 active fires in Ontario right now...................

I wish we could send you some of this rain we've been getting. Gotta be close to 12" in the past two weeks.

I was hoping to get the new steering box into the Bronco today, but it was already starting to rain when my wife was coming downstairs so I could hand my daughter off. I managed to get a stuck bolt knocked out of the frame in the 10 minutes I had put there before it started to pour.

So damm humid that I needed a shower from that.

Yeah - I've easily had 11-12" of rain since I finished up the sitting area in the backyard - that was 2 weeks from tomorrow (or today - I'm too lazy to look it up)

I took a chance on the dump in the rain and found a nice dog crate, pretty big and not rusty! Now I have to try to organize in the basement. If I post anymore memes, you know I have failed.

Got some more stumps out. Now comes some leveling work to prepare for a new barn. Going to have to move a bunch of sand but at least it does not have to be moved very far.

Crazy we are not that far apart.. I have had less than 6 inches of rain since April!! No bonfires:(
Mowed lawn last night and started brush hogging fields and trails. So of course we are getting a nice soaking rain now!!

Took a little road trip today to look at a 2016 Kubota BX25D

Machine has 76 hrs on it, price was reasonable, so we gave $2K cash deposit, verified in contract, and I'll be heading to the bank on Monday.

Machine is in near new condition, well maintained, and lives in a pole barn alongside a '66 (?) Chevelle that looked pristine.
    :binoculars:

Wish I could accommodate it's current standard here.

Guy will deliver it also, which saves me asking friends that have trailers, and 4 hrs of road time.

All in all, a good day.

Rain, rain and more rain since last night. It just kept pouring. The pool has been overflowing for days. This has been the wettest midsummer in a long time. And when the sun does come out, the humidity runs 95%+.

Did a little brush hogging this morning. Then took the three point hitch off and put the backhoe back on. Switched over to the two foot bucket and dug a few stumps out.
